At DPW, our goal is to be the most inclusive and representative event in procurement.

We believe that true innovation depends on hearing from, meeting with, and listening to people with a variety of perspectives and diverse backgrounds. We want DPW, and the community and companies who participate in it, to include, encourage, and recognise people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientation.

We have a long way to go. We must set forward pragmatic steps and concrete goals to achieve specific objectives. Shifting the system to be more respectful and accessible cannot happen in a vacuum.

Actions Over Words – The DPW Diversity & Inclusion Program

For DPW2020, we are aiming to make significant progress in speakers and content, and we are striving to repeat that with our attendees as well.

While we do not believe in just giving away free tickets to our conference as a way of ticking a diversity box, the fact is that not everyone is able to join us. Affording the time or the money to be away from the office for 2 days is a luxury that only a privileged set of the community has.

To help, we’ve set aside 15 no-charge tickets to DPW2020 for members of underrepresented groups in procurement.

Requirements
Be a member of a group not well-represented within the procurement community including but not limited to: women, underrepresented backgrounds, people with disabilities, LGBTQ, veterans.
